In this case the client addressed a structural issue since the structure was not able to support the weight of the anchor of a plaster dome. So along with the order has been designed a self-supporting modular structure.

Plasterego® oversaw both the design and the construction of architectural works building up a modular Dome, with interlocking elements arranged on three levels.

Each element of the dome was produced with its self-supporting structure capable of ensuring none structural deformability of the elements.

In order to reduce the load for existing structures it has been decided to use a particular supporting plaster lightened and reinforced with natural fibres in order to enhance its mechanical characteristics.
